Private Rentals
The space at Breathless is occasionally unused and on those occasions may be rented for private events. Only members can rent for certain types of events, for others not. Check for details below.

Private Party
At the discretion of the owner.
Some ideas for private rental (attendees by invite only):
- birthdays or anniversaries
- wedding, hand fastening, or commitment ceremonies
- special-interest groups
- play parties
- pot luck dinners, dances, etc.
- fundraising events (ie: fashion shows, vendors fair, etc.)
These events appear on the Calendar as "Private Event". You must be on the guest list to attend. Membership does not allow entrance to these events.
FEES:
Regular rental fee:
$75/hr (between 9am and 2am)
$100/hr after hours (between 2am and 9am)
Members of Breathless receive a discounted rate:
$50/hr (between 9am and 2am)
$75/hr after hours (between 2am and 9am)
This fee is for the rental of the space only. One staff member will be onsite at all rental events and can sell pop and canteen items if desired. Food is not included, but catering can be arranged. Ticket sales at the door and/or security can be arranged through Breathless at a fee if needed, or you can supply your own.
Check the calendar for available dates. If it's too far in advance and there's no calendar displayed for that month, please contact us with a date request, as well as some info on the event you're planning. (Please note, most Sat. evenings are already booked with monthly events, so your best bet would be Fri nights or Sundays.)

Closed Private Party
At the discretion of the owner.
As a member you can request that Breathless host a private, closed-list event. You become the Host/Hostess, and take care of the guest list and invitations. Breathless will do the rest! The regular fee at the door still applies and all attendees must be a member. It would be just like a regular event night, but with a closed guest list.
There is no rental fee... cost for this event will be covered by your guests cover charge. You must guarantee however, that a minimum number of people will attend your event, depending on many variables. Please write to us with details about the event you'd like to host and we'll see what we can do for you!
Private Play
At the discretion of the owner.
Only members of Breathless will be allowed to rent the space for private play. The cost for members to do so is $25/hr and allows couples or groups of up to 4 adults to use it at one time. These times will appear on the Calendar as "Private Play". Breathless reserves the right to have a staff member onsite during this time to ensure proper use of the space.
Rental Agreement:
When renting, 50% of the expected total is required as a down payment. For cancellations of more than 30 days before the event, all but 10% of the deposit will refunded. For cancellations between 30 and 5 days before the event, the deposit will be forfeited and not returned. For cancellations within 5 days of the event, payment in full is required. (It is unlikely we'll be able to fill the space with such short notice. In the case that we are able to fill the space, only the 50% deposit will be forfeited).
