Membership

Anyone wishing to attend a Members-Only event must become a member.

Why do you want to become a member of Breathless?

Regular paid members can:

1. Attend Members Only events
2. BYOB to Members Only events (never public events)
3. Receive a discount from most workshops and other offerings
4. Bring a Guest
5. Receive a discount from some local stores (Classixxx & Venus Envy to name a couple)
6. Borrow books from the Breathless library
7. Rent the club for private play

For those who just aren’t sure about becoming a member or are from out of town and unlikely to attend with any regularity (less than 3 times per year), once you are ‘known’ you can attend as a Guest Member. There is no orientation and no yearly fee, but admission fee is higher for Guests to attend events. Remember, you must be known to attend as a guest (you can’t just ‘drop in’ off the street).

Step One

To become a member, one must be known to the owner, or by someone who is already a member who will vouch for them. If not, then it is highly recommended that they attend some Community Centre events or other events in the city and become known to others.
For example, there get-togethers for the BDSM community within Ottawa. Called a “Slosh”, a group gets together every Wednesday at the Cock and Bull Tavern on Richmond Rd (Bells Corners) at 7pm. See www.oaln.com for details.
There are a few different groups of swingers who get together on a weekly, biweekly or monthly basis. You can join AdultFriendFinders.com to access these locations.

Step Two

Once we get to know a prospective member, that person will be invited to become a member. To become a member you must attend a Membership Orientation at the club. This orientation takes about 90 minutes and gives info on the club, goes over the rules and etiquette, and makes sure all members are on the same page. There is also time at the end for Q&A’s and a tour of the facilities.

Step Three

If you decide that Breathless is for you after the first two steps a yearly membership fee of $30 per person is payable at the end of the Orientation. To complete your membership, you are required to fill out a brief membership form (which must be kept on file) and sign a waiver.

Step Four

Attend any Member's Only event that interests you.
